International Multi-Award winning & Indie Music Hall Of Fame composer & musician, Mark Barnes, ThE BaD BoY oF ChilL OuT, will open your third eye – musically speaking.
Barnes’ music has been featured in numerous magazines and web sites over the years, most notably Shine On Hollywood Magazine, One World Music Radio, New Age Music Planet, New Age Music World, Piano Music Radio, Lite Lounge with Domitri K, EmmeK New Age and New Sounds Magazine, AMMA AnR, local and regional newspapers and many others.
He started his accolades back in 2007 as a top 20 finalist in the instrumental category for the 11th annual edition of Unisong’s International Songwriting Contest and was the featured artist on the “Pulse of the Planet” radio program.
Barnes’ music began playing initially on Florida FM radio stations, and is now regularly played on numerous FM and internet Radio stations across the globe including Pandora, Spotify, Apple Radio, One World Music Radio, New Age Notes, Mystic Soundscapes Internet Radio, Rainbow World Radio, 97.1 Ocean FM, Happy Days New Age Radio, and the Cygnus Radio program just to name a few. Barnes has over 25 million streams on his Pandora station alone and is featured on a number of compilation albums.
Work on the music for the Docu-Drama “City of Dreams” with 2-time Academy Award Nominee Carol Connors won Barnes the Best Theme Song at the 2011 TCI Film Festival and the Composer of the Year at the 20th Los Angeles Music Awards. In 2023 Barnes was inducted into the Akademia Hall of Fame (Los Angeles). Then again in 2024, he was inducted in the prestigious Indie Music Hall of Fame (Los Angeles). Most recently, Barnes won the 2025 Easy Listening Artist award from the Indie Music Channel Awards, bringing his total achievements/awards to 41.
